Australia
October - December 1994
I left for Australia to meet a group of international travellers, roughly my age group. I arrived in Darwin very early in the morning and about a day later met my group for the first time and then left for the Territory Wildlife Park, Litchfield N.P. and Kakadu N.P. After Katherine Gorge we spent two days in Manyallaluk, an aboriginal reserve. We then drove through Devil's Marbles and onto Alice Springs. We did some hiking in King's Canyon and then stopped at Ayers Rock. We managed to climb it very early next morning. We then flew to Cairns for the second part of our journey. I did scuba diving in the Barrier Reef and a sky dive over the Whitsunday Islands. We then visited two beautiful islands, Great Keppel and Fraser Island, before driving through Brisbane and onto the Gold Coast. From there we stopped at Cape Byron and finally drove to Sydney.
